Opportunity: Trustee Recruitment

The Stringcredibles’ Board of Trustees is looking for a new Chair and additional trustees to develop and diversify our Board and support the charity to increase its public reach. The Stringcredibles believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience excellent classical music, and deliver on this vision through work designed to support the connection between music and audiences, mostly in school and community settings. 

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate commitment to the vision and values of The Stringcredibles and bring additional skills to our Board.

  • Proposed Interviews: Thursday 22 June 2023 (online)
  • Proposed Start Date: Ideally, the term of office will begin from our AGM in Autumn 2023

Opportunity: Project Assistant

The Stringcredibles are dedicated to improving connections between musicians and audiences.  This year, our new project ‘Power Up!’ will be boosting the performance skills of music teachers and young musicians across the West Midlands.  We’ll be delivering fun and interactive shows in primary schools, and shattering barriers to classical music. 

We’re looking for a Project Assistant who can provide some additional support for our Stringcredible team between June and December 2021.  It’s a part-time opportunity with flexible hours that can be delivered remotely.

This is an entry-level role aimed at offering an introduction to working in arts administration.

If you’re passionate about music engagement and would like some experience of a region-wide project in action, we’d love to hear from you.
